A beautifully illustrated, easy-to-read retelling of Aesop's story. I hope the adults won't consider this a spoiler but the Ant takes in the Grasshopper on the promise of better behavior next year. This is contrary to the original story, and rather changes the moral lesson even as it evokes a kinder, gentler world.
